I've been in the field of neurodiagnostics for 6 years. I earned my R. EEG T. and have spent the majority of my experience in the hands-on patient care setting. While working at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM, I developed quality assurance measures and reports to ensure high-quality testing. While working at the New Mexico VA Medical Center, I helped set up the second EMU in the state of New Mexico. I've worked as a part-time instructor for the Neurodiagnostic program at CNM Community College, working with students in the lab setting and conducting assessments in the clinical hospital setting. I have a passion for excellent patient care, quality testing, and continued growth. I love to share my passion for these things with new students coming into the field. I recently moved to Bountiful, Utah, after living in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for 21 years. I'm currently working for Intermountain Health as a remote monitoring tech and am enjoying expanding my EEG monitoring knowledge.
